Inside the Mouth

Users were invited to a journey inside the mouth where issues related to the post-feeding process and the particularities of oral hygiene were addressed, as well as its relation to our general health and the importance of a constant maintenance of the oral hygiene. The material was playful while still being consistent with reality and suitable for the understanding of the target audience, composed mainly of children aged 7 to 10 years old. In this journey inside the mouth, the users were able to be in contact with the structures of the oral cavity, the tongue, teeth and cheeks and to discover some of their characteristics, as well as the necessary actions we must take to take care of them.

Serviço Social do Comércio, also known by the acronym SESC, is a Brazilian non-profit private institution powered by businessmen from the segments of goods, services, and tourism. It operates in the whole country and, while its main focus is on their employee’s and their families welfare, the institution also serves the general community. SESC also offers dental care and frequently organizes events and awareness campaigns aimed to children about the importance of dental hygiene. This experience was designed to run on 40 virtual reality devices installed in each SESC unit.
